Sidney Sweeney is hitting back after receiving harsh criticism.
After reports began circulating that longtime Hollywood producer Carol Baum spoke about Sweeney during a screening of the film, questioning her appeal by saying she was “not pretty” or not a strong actress, “Anyone” A representative for the “Bat You” star released a scathing statement. Sweeney starred in “Anyone But You” and also served as an executive producer. She is also credited as a producer on her latest film, Immaculate.
Baum has been directing films since the 1980s, and his list of film credits includes such works as “Father of the Bride,” “Fly Away Home,” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”
Bohm’s comments were made last week at a screening of the 1988 film “Dead Ringers” at the Jacob Burns Film Center in New York.
