Famous actress Jenna Fischer revealed that she broke her shoulder while filming the movie “Mean Girls” and had to complete the role in pain.
“It was the wildest experience,” she said people. “I filmed ‘Mean Girls’ for one day and then I didn’t have to film for a month. That month I went on a ski trip and fell on the sidewalk and broke my shoulder.”
Rather than delay filming, she turned it on and found ways to adapt her role to make it work. “So we had to shoot the rest of the movie with her just broken shoulder,” she said. The star went on to explain how difficult it was and how long it took her to recover.

She said the cast and crew were very sympathetic to the fact that she was struggling to work while in pain and did everything they could to deal with her injury. said. “If you notice in the opening shot of the movie, I’m out in the middle of a field and the caddy is singing and I’m carrying a crossbody bag. And I’m carrying a crossbody bag,” she explained. “The reason I’m doing that is because I had to take the sling off. It was a saving grace for me.”
Fisher talked about how he had to overcompensate for his good shoulder during filming.

“You’ll notice in the movie that I gesture exclusively with my left arm,” she told People. “So a big part of my role on ‘Mean Girls’ was to pretend I didn’t break my shoulder.”

It’s been a year since Fisher broke his shoulder, and he’s only just started raising his arm above his head.
