AOC, Rashida Tlaib call out arrest of ‘Squad’ member Ilhan Omar’s daughter at Columbia anti-Israel protest

Left-wing congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rashida Tlaib condemn the arrest of fellow “Squad” member Ilhan Omar’s daughter during the destructive anti-Israel protests at Columbia University, leading to a crackdown called it “terrible”.

She was later released from jail Thursday around 9 p.m., but declined to comment to the Post about her arrest.

Barnard College administrators said they began receiving warnings late Wednesday that students were at risk of suspension if they did not leave the camp.

A spokesperson for the Columbia University affiliate told the Post: “We do not provide information regarding legal proceedings related to student confidential conduct.”
