Kelsea Ballerini is taking legal action after a suspected hacker, a former superfan, illegally released her unfinished music.
According to court documents obtained by FOX News Digital, the “Penthouse” singer has filed for a temporary restraining order against Beau Ewing, alleging that Ballerini “secretly accessed unreleased songs in production without his authority or permission.” , copied and distributed.” She mastered and demoed her music.
“Defendant has already distributed the recordings to numerous third parties,” the document states. “These songs are unfinished and have not been distributed or authorized by plaintiff at this time.”

The document says that Mr. Ewing is a “former member of Ms. Ballerini’s fan club” and has “supported her career in the past,” but that he has “subsequently been stripped of his rights to Ms. Ballerini.”

Ballerini, Black River Entertainment and producer Alisa Vanderheim have secured an injunction to prevent “continued and irreparable harm” from future unauthorized release of the unfinished recordings.
“Protecting our artists’ music is of the utmost importance,” a Ballerinin spokesperson said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “Artists spend countless hours perfecting their art and telling their stories through music. Stealing or sharing unfinished music is illegal and creative It compromises the integrity of the process.”

Ballerini isn’t the only artist whose music has been leaked recently.
