Video shows Florida authorities wrangle alligator that wandered onto Air Force Base tarmac

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) officials took action to capture an alligator that had crawled under a plane at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.

The FWC announced Monday that it received a report of an alligator on the runway at an Air Force base in Hillsborough County.

Photos and videos posted on Facebook by MacDill Air Force Base officials show the 10-foot-long alligator lounging near the wheels of a parked plane.

At one point, a crocodile was seen wedged between two sets of the plane’s wheels.
