Knicks fans revel in wild Game 2 win outside MSG in unreal scene

There was a euphoric scene outside Madison Square Garden after the Knicks’ shocking victory over the 76ers in Game 2. That included scenes of costumed fans crowdsurfing and ecstatic supporters already looking ahead to a potential Eastern Conference finals game.

Thousands of fans poured onto Seventh Avenue on Monday night after a wild final 40 seconds gave the Knicks a 104-101 victory.

One video showed fans screaming and jumping in unison just outside MSG’s main entrance.

The video also shows Knicks fans chanting “Go, New York, go, New York, go” to the popular Knicks theme song.

In another scene, a fan could be heard yelling “DiVincenzo” after Donte DiVincenzo hit a game-winning 3-pointer in the final minutes of a playoff contest.

As if the crowd wasn’t excited enough, costumed fans could be seen crowdsurfing as fans around the person chanted “Knicks in Four.”

The video also showed a costumed fan and another person dressed as Spider-Man dancing in a crowd of Knicks fans outside MSG.

The Knicks hold a 2-0 series lead in their first playoff series in more than a decade.

But the two-game winning streak has already had Knicks fans chanting “We Want Boston” outside Madison Square Garden after Tuesday’s victory.

The Celtics are in the early stages of their series against the Heat, leading 1-0.

Even after Saturday night’s Game 1 win, fans were still chanting, “We want Boston.”
