President Joe Biden on Monday condemned anti-Semitism on college campuses, but was equivocal, saying he also condemned those who don’t understand the Palestinian perspective.
“I condemn anti-Semitic protests, which is why I launched a program to combat them,” Biden told reporters in Virginia. “I also blame Palestinians and those who do not understand their current situation.”

Joe Biden ran on the lie of “good people on both sides” in Charlottesville. Now in 2024, Joe Biden is actually doing what he claimed Trump did regarding anti-Semitism. pic.twitter.com/IyxiY6q5Ue

Biden appeared to be referring to his so-called “anti-Semitism strategy,” which was developed with support from anti-Semitic organizations such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and later endorsed by the White House. This strategy was forced upon me. deny.
As Breitbart News pointed out:
From 2007 to 2008, CAIR named Unindicted co-conspirator in Holy Land Relief and Development Foundation terrorist financing trial. This incident led to the F.B.I. call off Cooperation with organizations. In 2009, a federal judge control The government said it had “submitted sufficient evidence” to establish a link between CAIR and the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.United Arab Emirates a label is attached CAIR was designated as a terrorist organization in 2014 (Obama administration decision) opposed).
A wave of anti-Semitism has engulfed more than a dozen campuses across the country, with anti-Israel students attempting to set up encampments. At Columbia University, Jewish students were mocked and pro-Palestinian demonstrators chanted anti-terrorism and anti-Semitic slogans.

The situation at Columbia University is so extreme that the university’s rabbi ordered Jewish students to leave campus for their own safety and on Monday to minimize the risk to Jewish students. The entire campus has transitioned to remote learning.
The Biden administration condemns bigotry against Jews without also condemning bigotry against Muslims, as if one were a response to the other, or as if they were equivalent phenomena. I have often struggled with this. On Monday, Biden took it a step further by portraying anti-Israel protests as a legitimate expression of solidarity with the Palestinians, rather than a threatening expression of hatred against Israel and its Jewish sympathizers. It seems to justify anti-Israel protests.
Biden’s response was reminiscent of the “fine people’s hoax” in which then-President Donald Trump was falsely accused of praising neo-Nazis who rioted in Charlottesville, Virginia, in August 2017. President Trump said they should be “completely condemned.”
Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pennsylvania), who has been a vocal pro-Israel advocate, has linked Columbia to the Charlottesville riots, saying, “Add a tiki torch and it’s Charlottesville for Jewish students.” Ta.
I completely agree with the White House. These “protests” are anti-Semitic, unconscionable and dangerous.

Mr. Biden has often claimed that he was motivated to run for president in 2020 based on Mr. Trump’s vague statements. Now, Mr. Biden did exactly what Mr. Trump was falsely accused of doing: obfuscating anti-Semitism.
