Chilling doorbell footage shows a terrified woman pleading for help on a stranger’s doorstep, moments before a bearded man shows up and kidnaps her, police said.
Horrifying footage shows a woman crying and frantically knocking on the front door of a home in Hillsboro, Oregon, late Sunday night.
“Please help me,” I heard her scream as I looked back over and over again.
According to the video, the suspect ran up from behind, grabbed the frantic woman and put her into a white pickup truck.
Police immediately released the footage in an effort to track down the suspect and victim.
The woman was found safe and the man, who has not been identified, was arrested and charged with kidnapping early Tuesday morning. the policeman said.
“The suspect and victim knew each other and this was not a random attack. There is no danger to the public,” police said in a statement, without elaborating on how the two met.
On the other hand, a woman who owns a doorbell camera said: KGW8 She didn’t recognize either of them.
“She looked scared,” said the homeowner, identified only as Marisol.
“You could tell by her voice that she was desperate and in need of help. The way she was holding onto the door in the video, it didn’t seem normal.”
