On Saturday, Morgan Wallen raised a Mississippi child battling cancer into a very happy little girl.
The embattled country singer and her foundation partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to give 12-year-old Jayla Hibler a chance to meet her favorite artist.
Jayla completed chemotherapy and radiation treatments last Monday and Wednesday, respectively.

According to an Instagram post shared by the Morgan Wallen Foundation, Jayla was able to meet Warren during his “One Night at a Time” tour in Oxford. She was also given “custom-made boots and costume.”

Mississippi local outlet WDAM-TV Jayla reported that when she entered a clothing store last Thursday morning to go shopping, she was surprised to find out that her wish had come true. Make-A-Wish Mississippi greeted her on her behalf and told her she would be meeting Warren that weekend.
Jayla has stage 4 anaplastic large cell lymphoma.according to the outlet.

The Warren Foundation’s partnership with Make-A-Wish comes just over two weeks after the country star allegedly threw a chair off the roof of a bar in Nashville, Tennessee. He was arrested April 7 and charged with three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct.
His attorney, Warrick Robinson, confirmed the charges to Fox News Digital, adding that the singer was arrested at 10:53 p.m. and is “fully cooperating with authorities.”

On the eve of his concert in Oxford, the “Last Night” singer broke his silence about his arrest, saying, “I didn’t feel it was appropriate to check in publicly until I made amends with some people in Nashville. We have contacted law enforcement.” She, my family, and the good people of the Chief, I am not proud of my actions, and I accept responsibility. ”
He continued, “I have the utmost respect for the police officers who work hard every day to keep us all safe. There are no changes regarding my trip.”

Warren’s concert was held Saturday at Ole Miss despite inclement weather.
As the concert began, Warren continued to tease about his recent life, telling how he almost got kicked off his high school baseball team because of his violent personality, before performing a song called “’98 Braves.” He joked that he’s still “a little rowdy.”
