The Bruins star’s wife, Brittany Lucic, filed papers for separation Monday night, five months after the couple was involved in a domestic violence incident.
The couple married on July 19, 2012, and according to court records, newspapers listed Brittany’s separation date as November 17, 2023, which is the same as Milan’s date of separation with his wife on July 19, 2012. This was the day before he was arrested on suspicion of physical abuse. Fight.
Authorities say an argument broke out over the whereabouts of Millan’s cell phone, and Millan allegedly put his hands on Brittany, and was later charged with assault and battery on a family member.
However, the case was dismissed in February after Brittany decided not to testify against her husband.
In the divorce documents, Brittany asked for custody of her three children, two daughters and a son, and for spousal support from Milan.
Their first daughter Valentina was born in 2013, their second daughter Nicolina was born in 2015, and their son Milan Junior was born in 2018.
She also asked Milan to visit the children in a supervised manner.

“The organization takes these matters very seriously and will work with the Lucic family to provide any support and assistance they may need,” the team said in a statement at the time. “We have no further comment at this time.”
“As an organization, this is something we take very seriously,” head coach Jim Montgomery added, according to the Boston Globe.
“[Lucic] is currently on leave from the team and we support the Lucic family and will continue to provide support and assistance to the Lucic family and respect their privacy. That’s all I have to comment on the details now. “
