Former President Donald Trump has been plagued by legal troubles since leaving office, but many polls show he still has a slight lead over incumbent President Joe Biden. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) appeared on FOX News Channel’s “Hannity” on Monday to criticize these charges, which he sees as an effort to undermine President Trump’s re-election effort. The Americans claimed that
“While doing something like this to President Trump, I think it’s clear to everyone that Alvin Bragg is prosecuting the bad guys in that city who were doing so much harm to the residents of Manhattan.” Instead of prosecuting the real criminals, they are instead pursuing political objectives after President Trump,” Jordan explained. “But Sean, this started years ago. They spied on his campaign, and it was Robert Mueller. Then came the impeachment. Then they raided his house. ”
“And it’s Special Counsel Jack Smith who will prosecute him in Florida and Washington, D.C.,” the Ohio Republican added. “So, here’s Fani Willis from Atlanta. And then there’s Alvin Bragg. Then they tried the 14th Amendment. Now they have a gag order on this trial, and they’re not allowed to bring in anyone as a witness. Kuruka didn’t tell him. It’s going to cost that much to get this guy, but he’s going to win because people see through it.”
