Driver plows car onto NYC sidewalk in wild road rage incident: video

An enraged Big Apple driver was caught on camera plunging his car into a Manhattan sidewalk before violently chasing pedestrians across the road.

The incident happened Monday on West 39th Street near Seventh Avenue, according to footage shared by the newspaper. What is New York? Instagram account.

A driver was filmed driving his white sedan onto the sidewalk in front of a shirtless pedestrian, knocking over two large trash cans in the process.

Once the pedestrians had left, the driver backed up and continued down the road, causing frightened onlookers to scramble.

A driver was caught on camera destroying a bike lane as a shirtless pedestrian fled on foot.

Moments later, the driver stopped his car in the middle of the pavement and jumped out, before both were filmed getting into a heated shouting match.

At one point, someone could be heard repeatedly yelling, “Call the police, call the police now.”

It was not immediately clear what led to the street assault.

The Post reached out to the NYPD, but there was no immediate response.
