Activist Malala Yousafzai expressed her support for Palestine in an online post after receiving backlash for reportedly performing in a musical with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Yousafzai, the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize winner, has been criticized by some for teaming up with Clinton in the new musical “Snuffs,” which opened in New York. Arab News reported.
In an op-ed published last November, Clinton opposed a complete ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, saying it would refuel Hamas and prolong the conflict.
Clinton supports a humanitarian cease-fire to send aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip. She said she would eventually agree to a ceasefire, but it would have to happen at the right time. She criticized the current Israeli leadership and said international interim leaders should support efforts to help Israel “resume control of the Gaza Strip.”
