Biden ridiculed after reading ‘pause’ instruction on the teleprompter out loud: ‘I’m Ron Burgundy?’

Biden’s week of gaffes continued on Wednesday with embarrassing teleprompter readings.

At a labor union conference in Washington, D.C., Biden appeared to interject scripted instructions into his speech while reading from a teleprompter, resulting in an awkward line of applause.

“Imagine what we can do next. Four more years, hang on,” he said, then laughed as the audience started chanting “four more years.”

Biden’s “pause” moment quickly sparked reactions online ranging from outright ridicule to concern.
