Police in Gloucester Township, New Jersey, said Target employees stopped three women from stealing a shopping cart full of merchandise on Monday afternoon.
At a New Jersey store, an eagle-eyed Target employee spotted three women attempting to leave with nearly $600 in stolen goods, and the trio abandoned ship and quickly dispersed.

Officials said the value of the items in the cart was $581.29.
The Gloucester Township Police Department said in a press release that the incident happened at a local Target store on Monday around 5:30 p.m.

Surveillance video showed three women parading through the store, filling Target’s signature red shopping carts with items.
The video showed one of the suspects exiting the store and parking a silver Jeep SUV with an unknown temporary license plate and a right front spare tire in front of the store.
The other two suspects were seen approaching the cash register and appeared to be heading toward it, but attempted to leave without paying.

Their shopping trip came to an abrupt end after a Target employee ran out after them and stopped them outside the store with unpaid items.
