As protests continue to rage on American college campuses, new body camera footage released by the Boston Police Department sheds light on interactions between anti-Israel demonstrators and police officers.
Body camera footage obtained by Fox News Digital shows an unidentified police officer approaching a group of Emerson College protesters gathered on a street corner in front of the entrance to a public alley in Massachusetts at 1:30 a.m. Thursday. It’s reflected.
It sounds like the cops are trying in vain to argue with the agitators.
“We don’t want to arrest anyone. We support the right to protest. I’m indifferent. I don’t take sides. I want it to be done peacefully,” the officer said. “But we can’t do that because the roads are closed.”
“We need you to open this place,” a police officer could be heard quietly telling protesters who were blocking a Boston street. “We have to get you out of there. I don’t want to arrest anyone.”

Police officers were heard telling protesters that they did not want the university’s term to be “ruined” by continuing protests.
“I want you to be able to protest. Again, I’m disinterested. We’re not trying to prevent you from protesting. We have no sympathy either way, but the fire code… “It’s been broken and there’s a lot going on. We can’t tolerate what’s happening here,” he said. “We have people employed here and buildings that require emergency access.
“That being said, as you can understand, we don’t want anyone to get arrested, we don’t want anyone to get hurt, we don’t want anyone to mess up at school with their grades or whatever,” the officer said. continued. “I’m trying to work with you all. Trust me, I’m not your enemy on this.”
