BUDAPEST, Hungary — Former President Donald Trump had an upbeat message for attendees at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Hungary on Friday morning.
“Together we are engaged in an epic struggle to liberate our nation from all the evil forces that seek to destroy it. Every day we defend our culture, defend our sovereignty, defend our way of life, protect our freedom, We are fighting to protect the timeless values of family and faith in Almighty God,” Trump said in a video address to a rally for European conservatives.
President Trump thanked Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, considered Europe’s top campaigner against the spread of Weitism, and said he looked forward to working closely together again.
“As President, I was proud to work with Prime Minister Orbán, a great man who promotes the values and interests of both countries. “And we defended Judeo-Christian values. That’s very important – Judeo-Christian values,” he said.
President Trump added: “I look forward to working closely with Prime Minister Orbán and working together again as he takes the oath of office as the 47th President of the United States.”
