Israel’s Yad Vashem Dismayed at Covering of Holocaust Memorials and Monuments

The World Holocaust Remembrance Center (Yad Vashem) on Sunday expressed regret over reports that Holocaust memorials and memorials are being protected from looting by pro-Palestinian protesters in both the US and UK. did.

The Israel-based organization noted that Holocaust memorials serve as “a solemn reminder of the unprecedented horrors perpetrated during one of the darkest chapters in human history.”

Yad Vashem implored authorities to address the hatred and anti-Semitism at the heart of the incident. These are real problems that are eroding the moral fabric of our society.

Yad Vashem calls on all individuals, communities and governments to preserve the memory of the Holocaust and actively work towards a world free of hatred and discrimination. We must remain vigilant in our efforts to combat anti-Semitism and ensure that the voices of victims are never silenced and their legacies are never forgotten.
