A 24-year-old Brooklyn man died after being shot in the abdomen in New York City on Saturday night, and two people were taken into custody, authorities said.
Dequan Buckley, of Flatbush, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds when police arrived at 54th Street and Church Avenue in East Flatbush around 8:45 p.m., police said. It is said that it was done.
He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
According to the New York City Police Department, two persons of interest are in police custody.
One of them was found with a gun, police officials said.
The motive for the shooting is unknown, but witnesses told the Daily News Buckley was sitting behind the wheel of the BMW when he was shot by a passenger inside the vehicle.
Charges were pending Sunday night.
