If there is a left-wing cause, protests are bound to happen, no matter how little the protesters understand why they are protesting or what they are protesting in the first place.
This is especially true after Hamas’ attack on Israel on October 7th.
Pro-Palestinian protesters are currently occupying college campuses across the United States, from Columbia University in New York to George Washington University in Washington, D.C., to Cal Poly Humboldt in California.
Protesters last weekend established an autonomous region in solidarity with Gaza, held Islamic prayers and chanted about the intifada.
“It seems like all Americans want to do these days is protest Israel’s right to exist.” Stu Brugiere say Glenn Beck.
In one protest at Columbia University, students knelt on a Muslim prayer rug while a man recited prayers.
“What’s nice is that women are also participating in the call to prayer, which is very popular in the Middle East. They love it when women get down and pray right next to the men,” Glenn jokes.
At another protest in Canada, a woman praised Hamas’ attack on Israel. “We support the Palestinian resistance movement and their heroic and courageous actions on October 7th. And they said, ‘Long live October 7th,’ and today we “Long live October 7th!” she exclaimed.
“You know, I love when the Nazis say, ‘Long live the Holocaust,'” Glenn scoffs. “‘Long live the really great shower and oven system we came up with.'”
