Subpoena documents released Tuesday by the House Homeland Security Committee reveal that the vast majority of immigrants eligible for the Biden administration’s mass parole program are flying into Florida.
Under President Biden’s controversial border policy, immigrants from Cuba, Nicaragua, Haiti, and Venezuela will be able to obtain U.S. sponsorship, pass background checks, and receive immigration based on vital public interest or urgent humanitarian reasons. If he proves that his parole is warranted, he will be allowed to fly to a U.S. port of entry. There they receive a work permit and a two-year residence permit in the country.
The Department of Homeland Security has processed more than 400,000 immigrants through its mass parole program.

The House committee said DHS documents also revealed that as of October 2023, there were approximately 1.6 million immigrants awaiting approval to enter the United States through the parole program.
According to the committee, DHS noted in one document that “all individuals paroled into the United States, including those paroled under the CHNV process, are, by definition, inadmissible.” .
House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-Tenn.) said, “These documents will transport denied aliens to every corner of the country, from Orlando and Atlanta to Las Vegas and San Francisco.” “It’s clear that Secretary Mayorkas is going to great lengths to make sure we get there.” statement.
“Secretary Mayorkas’ CHNV parole plan is an illegal ploy used to hide the worsening border crisis from the American people,” he added. “The implementation of a program that allows normally inadmissible aliens to directly enter the United States for reasons other than vital public interest or urgent humanitarian reasons as defined by the Immigration and Nationality Act may be an impeachable offense. It has been proven.”
The Green Commission first requested information on the CHNV program in April 2023.
After more than 100 days of delinquency from DHS, the Committee issued a subpoena to DHS, at which time the requested documents and information were produced.
Several states, including Florida, are suing the Biden administration to block the mass parole program, arguing that it is a new visa program with virtually no legal basis.
According to Customs and Border Protection, immigrants must make their own travel arrangements based on program guidelines.
The program has access to 30,000 people each month from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Cuba.
