Jelly Roll’s wife hits back at critics after meeting her ‘hall pass’

Jelly Roll’s wife doesn’t condone any backlash after meeting “Hall Pass.”

Over the weekend, Bunny Zo uploaded a video of him meeting Motionless in White’s lead singer Chris Cerulli. “When I finally got my hall pass,” she wrote during a video conference with Cerli at the Chic New World Music Festival in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Bunny, whose legal name is Alyssa Deford, captioned the video: “You can say we’re in love right now,” adding a laughing face emoji and a white heart. She has Celine Dion’s “The Power of Love” playing alongside the video.

Some fans were furious that Bunny publicly named himself “Hallpass.” However, Jelly Roll supported the conference. “Game time,” he commented on the video.

A day after uploading the video, Bunny, who married the country music star in 2016, took to Facebook to slam the backlash.

“So many people are offended and upset about my ‘Hall Pass’ video,” she wrote, “even though my husband and I were just watching it and giggling.

Her post includes a screenshot of her messages with Jelly Roll, which she has saved on her phone as “Daddy New.”

“I’m sorry, but you guys are not happy with yourself and you’re too insecure to even joke about it. I don’t want to live in a cage like that. Forget about being my best friend and my love. It’s life,” Bunny continued.

“Half of what I say and do is a joke. It’s satire. If you don’t know the definition, look up the word personality. Some people may understand it,” she concluded.

Bunny and Jelly Roll’s text message exchange began when the country music crooner wrote, “I miss you. Your TikToks are so funny.”

“I thought so too, but everyone’s pissed, lol,” Bunny replied. “I want to see you more.”

After sharing the message with her husband, Bunny pointed out that there was a “double standard” going on. She uploaded a video taken when Jelly Roll met her “girlfriend” Taylor Swift at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

“I have one more thing to prove. When my husband met his crush Taylor Swift, we all fainted,” Bunny wrote on Facebook. “But then his wife, the outspoken blonde, met her wife, and oh my god! We feel so bad for Jerry, you know. We didn’t even hug him. LOL – I shook his hand, you all know how much I hate it.” Shake hands. “

She continued, “If anything, I just promoted ‘HELL outta Motionless in White’ and it got over 10 million views across all platforms (lol). I think society’s double standards are wild. I’m just saying.”

Bunny’s encounter with hateful comments online came after she revealed that she had decided to quit social media following Jelly Roll’s comments about her weight.

“My husband got off the internet because he was tired of being bullied about his weight,” she revealed on the Dumb Blonde podcast. “He’s such a cute angel baby that it makes him want to cry.”

“My husband doesn’t show it to you guys, but I’m going to have a very vulnerable moment here,” she told listeners. “It hurts him.”
