Former Department of Homeland Security Deputy Secretary Chad Wolf says President Joe Biden’s immigration policies are similar to those of the European Union, which has sparked an immigration crisis across Western Europe.
“When you look at this, [immigration] Here in the EU, we have had very liberal policies for some time, allowing more individuals to enter EU member states. And of course, now under President Biden, you’ll see that in the Biden administration’s policies in the United States. ” he said in recent remarks obtained exclusively by Breitbart News at CPAC Hungary.
“But, you know, I think just recently, the European Union passed some kind of immigration deal. What they’re advocating for there, and what President Biden’s administration is advocating for, which is to actually move migrants forward. “I see a lot of similarities in the idea of just processing more migrants rather than interdicting them,” he said.

“It should be [that] We are stopping them and making sure those who really need help can enter the country through asylum,” he said. “Asylum claims are not guarantees. However, here in Europe, I think they are treated as such on both sides. Currently in the United States, this is a discretionary form of relief. It is provided on an as-needed basis, but it is not a right. It is not a guarantee.
According to the BBC, the EU recently passed a migration deal that obligates EU member states to accept or provide funding and other resources for thousands of migrants from “frontline” countries such as Italy, Greece and Spain.
It will also shorten the processing of asylum applications by up to 12 weeks, with asylum seekers reportedly being sent home within that period if rejected.
Poland and Hungary staunchly opposed the deal, saying it would lead to a surge in immigration and that laws restricting immigration were not working well enough. The deal reportedly includes measures that would allow those countries to contribute equipment and lawyers, or pay fines in return. Wolf said Texas is similarly being punished for trying to secure its borders.
“They’re being sued by the federal government, by the Biden administration,” he said. “Here in the EU, through the migration agreement, countries like Hungary will be fined €20,000 for each migrant they don’t want to settle or accept. We’re punishing them for their decisions.” We’re doing it even though it’s what’s best for our people and what’s best for our territory. So there are a lot of similarities here. ”
Thousands of protesters recently marched in Hamburg, Germany, calling for the establishment of an Islamic state in Germany and holding placards declaring that “a caliphate is the solution.” The march was organized by a group called Muslim Interactive, Hamburg’s domestic intelligence agency. investigating Regarding “extremism” new york post.

Wolf said that many of the bad immigration policies in the United States actually come from Europe.
“As America First, as American conservatives, we need to do what is best for our country. We need to make sure that we take care of Americans first, just as we take care of Hungarians first. ” he said.
Other Trump administration alumni have also spoken out against EU policies extending to the United States.
Former State Department senior aide Matt Mowers and former White House Domestic Policy Council director Joseph Grogan are directors of the EU-US Forum, which launched a five-figure media campaign in Budapest, Hungary.
The campaign aims to oppose liberal EU policies on everything from restrictions on free speech to immigration.
The campaign will fund billboards across Hungary that read: “Stand up for safety. Tell the EU to stop illegal immigration.”
