The executive order signed by President Joe Biden focuses on registering voters and involves only left-wing nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), a study by the Heritage Foundation Oversight Project found.

Another official at the Elections Legal Center said he hopes the Bureau of Prisons will implement a voter registration system to let voters know they have the right to vote after being released from prison.
Other notes from the listening session focused on making it easier for immigrants, and perhaps newly naturalized citizens, to register on the nation’s voter rolls.
A MALDEF official said, “We support voter registration efforts, both immigrants and non-citizens. We want to do everything carefully. [federal] Employees need to be trained on this. We need to trust that people are acting within the law. This is especially true when there are language issues. ”
Another official from Asian Americans Advancing Justice said “voter registration information” should be “required at naturalization ceremonies” and that the government’s official website for voter registration should be translated into many languages. Stated.
