Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida) on Thursday shared a clip from a House Subcommittee on the Weaponization of Federal Hearings to Twitter.

Throughout a hearing last year, Mr. Gates asked Mr. Pomerantz whether he had violated the New York State Bar, the Constitution, or misused federal funds during the investigation.

In response, Mr. Pomerantz repeatedly invoked his Fifth Amendment rights.

Mr. Pomerantz’s memoir alleges that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg resigned because of his reluctance to prosecute Mr. Trump.

Mr. Bragg indicted Mr. Trump two months after Mr. Pomerantz resigned.
