13-year-old student says she was attacked by adults on school bus and she was suspended for defending herself

A 13-year-old girl claimed she was attacked by adults associated with a bull at her Texas school, but the school district decided to suspend her after the victim fought back.

A girl who does not want her identity revealed, told KTVT TV. She had heard rumors that a new girl at Betty Myers Middle School in Denton wanted to fight with her.

She said she consulted school officials, including counselors and the vice principal. She said they talked to the other girl, but she said she was unable to resolve the situation.

When he got on the school bus to go home, he was attacked by the girl. Later, she realized that the girl’s mother had also joined her fight when she called her girl “mom” during her fight.

“I was scared,” she told KTVT with tears in her eyes.

The video shows the assault on the school bus, with other students standing around recording the incident and not intervening in any way.

“I think one of the women came and put me in a chokehold on the bus,” she added.

She says the women followed the bus to her stop and attacked her again. Video of her second altercation shows her being thrown to the ground and punched.

The girl was able to call her mother during the attack, police said.

“I heard the baby screaming,” the mother told KTVT. “And no one did anything.”

She is angry at the bus driver’s actions. The driver appeared to do nothing to stop the fight and drove away while the girl was attacked a second time.

“If he had locked the door, called for help, and waited for the police to arrive, those grown-ups wouldn’t have been able to get on the bus and assault my child. He couldn’t have followed her and continued the incident by assaulting her,” she said.

The girl said she was traumatized by the attack.

“I can’t walk to the store anymore. I have to stare every time I see a white car,” she said. “And I have to watch you everywhere I go. Because of you.”

She also said that school authorities suspended her for three days for her response, but claimed she was simply protecting herself.

A Denton Police Department spokesperson told KTVT that they are taking the incident seriously and will provide an update on the incident in the near future.

The victim and her mother said they relied on their faith to cope with the aftermath of the violence.

“I had to stay up at night crying about it and asking God why. But I also pray for them because my mother taught me that they are bad for you.” Everything you do is done for a reason. Everything has a purpose,” 13 people said. – year old girl.

“The other night, when she said, ‘Mom, let’s pray,’ and she grabbed my hand and started praying for them, I thought, ‘Okay, I know. … She’s going to be okay,’” her mother said.
