Caitlin Clark impresses early in Fever, WNBA preseason debut

Could it have happened any other way?

Caitlin Clark played in her first WNBA preseason game in an Indiana Fever uniform, hitting a deep 3-pointer to earn her first bucket as a professional.

Shortly after grabbing a defensive rebound, Clark sank his first try from the floor, knocking down a 28-foot trey with 9:12 left in the first quarter.

She led all scorers for both the Fever and Wings with 16 points in the first half, and only got better from there.

She went 5-of-9 from the field, 4-of-8 from 3-point land, and added two rebounds and one assist.

She showed off her shooting range and ball skills, producing a number of highlight-worthy plays in the first two quarters.
