Nicole Brown Simpson’s sisters Denise, Dominique, and Tanya continue to uphold their sister’s legacy and support other women facing domestic violence.
The trio took to the stage Thursday at the Variety Power of Women held at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City, and Denise said, “We lost Nicole almost 30 years ago.” Ta.
Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman were murdered on June 12, 1994. Nicole was 35 years old and Goldman was only 25. Brown made several calls to police about her husband, O.J. Simpson, from 1985 to 1992.
“Nicole endured incredible pain, but through that pain she was able to protect her children,” Dennis told attendees. “She walked away from her abuser. She was a daughter, a sister, a mother, a friend, and a woman whose life was tragically cut short.”
Nicole’s sisters participated in the new Lifetime documentary series, “The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson,” which will air in June.
“I’ve wanted to make a documentary for 10 years, but the timing just never felt right” Dennis He previously told Variety. “I thought it would be great if I could find someone who would make Nicole’s voice heard instead of talking about the trial and Nicole.”

The Simpson case, also known as the “trial of the century,” has been in the headlines again since O.J. died last month from metastatic prostate cancer.
