Elon Musk recently announced that X’s AI chatbot Grok will be enhanced with the ability to essentially summarize personalized trending stories in the “Explore” section of the platform.
X’s engineering team posted an announcement on Friday, writing, “Now Available: The Story of X Powered by Grok AI.”
“See what’s being talked about around the world with Stories on X, curated by @grok. Available for Premium subscribers[探索]Now available in Tabs! Web and iOS only for now — Give us your feedback. ”
tech crunch report X premium subscribers will be able to read a summary of posts on the platform related to each trending article. All of these are displayed in the “For You” tab.
The “For You” tab serves as a one-stop shop for users to catch up on news and articles circulating on popular platforms within the network. Users don’t have to scroll endlessly to find trends; they can simply navigate to the For You tab.
Regarding the story of AI burnout, the report says in a Grok-powered summary: “AI engineers are facing burnout and rushed deployments due to competition in the technology industry as companies prioritize satisfying investors over solving real problems.”
Although some may be optimistic about Grok’s capabilities, it is not a perfect AI. The chatbot humorously says, “Grok can make mistakes, so please verify its output.”

Technology journalist Alex Kantrowitz reportedly received an email from Musk in which he explained the big picture of AI-powered news on the platform.

The plan is to use AI to combine breaking news, social commentary on big stories, and compilations live, with the ability to dig deeper through chat. ”
