Blood-soaked spear found at California murder-suicide scene

Police are investigating the deaths of a young woman and an elderly man whose bodies were discovered Thursday afternoon at a storage facility in the city about 55 miles south of Los Angeles.

A third man was found alive at the scene but later died.

Santa Ana police said a woman reported her boyfriend had stabbed her and her uncle just before 4:30 p.m.

Police said they arrived and found a woman and “two adult males with apparent gunshot wounds to the upper body.”

One of the men was still alive and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he died.

“Homicide detectives are currently investigating this incident and, although in its early stages, believe this may be a possible murder-suicide,” the statement said.
