Biden campaign co-chair brushes off Sanders’ comparison of campus chaos to Vietnam: ‘Over-exaggeration’

In comments to CNN on Sunday, the Biden campaign’s national co-chair dismissed comparisons with Sanders as “over-exaggerated.”

“This is a completely different situation,” Mitch Landrieu told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday. “I think people who actually lived through those very difficult times would say there’s no comparison to this. But that doesn’t mean it’s any less of a serious problem.”
