Will we see JJ Watt return to the NFL?!
Future Pro Football Hall of Famer JJ Watt may be retiring, but that doesn’t necessarily mean we won’t see him on the gridiron again. Because if the Houston Texans “absolutely need it” this season, he’ll be all-in. But the 2024 season will be the Texans’ last chance to make that happen.
Watt, who announced his retirement after the 2022 season, revealed his retirement status Saturday while hosting the annual charity softball game in H-Town. (Related: Steelers considering hiring Justin Fields to return kickoffs, where’s my popcorn?)
“I’m a very lucky and lucky guy, I have a beautiful wife and a beautiful son. I’ve had 12 great years in this league and I’m so grateful to be able to retire healthy and playing great.” ” Watt told the media. “I told Demeco.” [Ryans] Last year: “Don’t call me unless you absolutely have to. But if you call me, I’ll be right there.” And I know I shouldn’t call unless I absolutely have to.This is the last year I’m going to tell him that because he’s not going to keep training. [the way] I’ve been training. ”
Watt currently works as an NFL analyst for CBS Sports. He is also a minority owner of the Burnley FC (England) football franchise with his wife Kealia.they bought shares in the team 2023.
