Don’t let the left demoralize you into staying on the sidelines

When a former Soviet KGB official named Yuri Bezmenov defected from Russia to the West, he began to expose the strategies used within the KGB to spread propaganda and align the Soviet people with the policies of their political masters. . This campaign employed a myriad of tactics that today would be considered misinformation or disinformation.

One of the most effective means of conquest in the former Soviet Union was known as “demoralization,” which Bezmenov explained as follows:

Exposure to true information is no longer a problem. Depressed people are unable to evaluate true information. Even if I shower him with information, real evidence, documents, photos, the facts won’t tell him anything…he will refuse to believe it. That is the tragedy of a demoralizing situation.

Learn more about this method and many other tools to keep your citizens compliant. Interview with Bezmenov I also detail the effects of demoralization in an important chapter titled “What’s Preventing People from Seeing the Truth?” In my new book, “Obvious: Seeing visible evil and doing something about it.

As you can see, low morale results in a “what’s the use?” attitude. And excuses like “you can’t fight a machine”. and inaction related to “If I stand up, will someone join me?”

In his new book, “non-religious christianityEric Metaxas outlines the many “idols” employed by Christians to justify in their hearts and minds why they remain on the sidelines of today’s fight to preserve the fundamental tenets of America’s founding. ing. In a world where “evil is called good and good is called evil,” many people fill the pews in church every Sunday. It’s as if Doris Day’s “Que Sera Sera” has been turned into the solemn hymn “Whatever Becomes, Becomes.”

This attitude is the idol of “fatalism.” This argument is developed from a Christian interpretation. “God is in charge, so whatever He wants will happen. I don’t have to do anything but obey.”

One of the best things to take away from “Christianity Without Religion” is that Metaxas doesn’t just display the unvarnished truth. He closes the book with generous words of encouragement. His conclusion is:

If we dare to answer God’s call to be changed as He changes us, we will rise up on our newfound wings and do what we would otherwise do. Can you imagine if it would be possible to confront the evils of our time in a way possible or unimaginable?

This is an exceptional, fundamental change, a personal change. Such changes could help restore the country to its exalted position in the world.

Time is very slow. We all must “answer God’s call.” We can’t put all the heavy lifting on the upper echelons of the “critic class” to share opinions. We must become part of the “common class” and make changes within our sphere of influence.

It is essential to do something. No matter who we are, where we are, or what we are. Inspired and motivated by a loving God.

I can kindly respond to that. When we think someone is on the wrong side of an issue, all we need to do is confront them gently and “speak the truth in love,” as Ephesians advises. There may be only one. For example, you can ask, “Have you considered this other idea?” We then state what we have found to be a reasonable, common sense view of the problem.

please remember. When Jesus was in His day among generous people who were eager for the truth, He did not yell at them, even though He was the embodiment of all truth. He said, “Think of the lilies of the field.” Jesus helped the crowd understand the obvious.

Most importantly, we all need to do everything we can to stop the madness that is spiraling out of control every day.

The left wants you to be demoralized and remain on the sidelines. But deep down you know you need to get into the game while you still can. Don’t let them keep you from “fighting the good fight.”
