The Colts are on the verge of becoming one of the best teams in the NFL. With an exciting young offensive core in Michael Pittman Jr. and Jonathan Taylor, plus some play calling from Shane Steichen, they should be an exciting team to watch with the ball in their hands. Defensively, they have a very good defensive line led by DT DeForest Buckner, and LB Zaire Franklin is one of the most underrated defensive players in the game.
The big chip the Colts have to get more primetime games is a young QB. Anthony Richardson missed most of the Colts’ season due to injury, but when he was 100% healthy he was able to make big-time plays downfield. With a fully healthy Richardson, plus the skill position talent and play-calling they already have, they could see more prime-time minutes this year.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur is one of the best play-callers in the game, which is another big selling point for more prime-time games. It’s also very important that he is on one of the most historic teams in the NFL.

The Cardinals, battling for brilliance in a crowded NFC West, looked like one of the worst teams in the NFL in the first quarter of 2023. However, since QB Kyler Murray returned, the Cardinals are starting to look like one of the most interesting teams for the future. Again, it’s the offense that gets the most attention here. Murray, tight end Trey McBride and rookie WR Marvin Harrison Jr. will give fans something to watch at Cardinals games. Murray plays really exciting football, and if Harrison Jr. can be the outside receiver that everyone thinks he can be, the Cardinals should be a very exciting team.
Defensively, the team is still slowly developing, but safety Budda Baker is still a lot of fun to watch. Watching Murray run around and throw passes to Harrison Jr. will make this team one of the most fun to watch this year.
Two teams you don’t want to see more of in prime time
pittsburgh steelers
