Bragg Trial Judge ‘Noticeably Uncomfortable’ By Stormy Daniels’ Testimony About Alleged Sexual Encounter With Trump

The judge presiding over Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s trial said he was “deeply disturbed” by the “incredibly detailed” testimony of former porn actress Stormy Daniels.

Daniels testified before a jury on Tuesday, facing questioning and cross-examination about the $130,000 hush money paid by former President Donald Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen to keep the alleged affair private. She testified in detail about an incident in 2006 in which the former president allegedly had sexual contact with her after inviting her to dinner in a Lake Tahoe hotel suite.

“He seemed noticeably uncomfortable as she went into detail,” said Kailan Collins, a CNN anchor and former Daily Caller reporter who was present in court. “Actually, it was Stormy Daniels’ prerogative here. So the prosecutors were asking her pretty open-ended questions. ‘Tell me about your interactions with Trump,’ or ‘What did you two do there? Please explain what you said.” And she took advantage of such opportunities to thoroughly examine her details. I mean, it was incredibly detailed. ”

New York State Supreme Court Justice Juan Marchan reportedly became “significantly agitated” when Daniels described Trump sitting on the edge of his bed wearing boxers and a T-shirt. according to In the New York Times. She claimed that President Trump blocked access to her bedroom door in a non-threatening manner. She then claimed that she “blacked out” and described how “the room spun in slow motion” and “the blood disappeared from her hands and feet.”

The New York Times said the judge objected at least twice during his testimony and seemed “unusually angry.”

According to the Times, Daniels claimed that prosecutor Susan Hoffinger did not question her about not wearing a condom during her meeting with President Trump.

“Did you say anything about that?” Mr. Hoffinger asked.

“No,” Daniels replied. “I didn’t say anything.”

The former porn actress told the court she was upset and confused by the alleged encounter, wondering how she got to the place where she had sex with President Trump. She reportedly did not object to the event at the time, but she claimed there was an “imbalance” in the power relationship. According to the Times, many details about the sexual encounter did not appear in an earlier version of Daniels’ testimony. In a 2011 interview, she never mentioned the blackout and described the event as more casual. Experts specializing in traumatic sexual experiences said a person’s memory of a particular sexual encounter can change over time to emphasize the traumatic part.

During cross-examination by her defense team, Daniels admitted that she hates Trump and would dance in celebration if he went to prison, CNN reported. report.

Mr. Bragg indicted Mr. Trump on 34 counts of falsifying business records, alleging that he concealed hush money payments with the intent to interfere in the 2016 presidential election. Critics and legal experts argue that paying to hide politically embarrassing information is not a crime.
