Kathy Hochul Misses the Mark — Her Effort to Criticize Trump Fails Miserably

Why are Democrats feeling so embarrassed lately?

There’s real excitement surrounding the New York Knicks possibly making it to the NBA Finals. In fact, even President Donald Trump plans to attend a game at Madison Square Garden.

But, of course, there’s always someone who has to come in and, well, rain on the parade. This time, it’s New York Governor Kathy Hochul. She’s the same governor who recently reached out to former New Yorkers for financial support. In her attempt to criticize Trump, who she claims is a fake Knicks fan, she didn’t quite hit the mark.

But, like many Democrats, she ended up embarrassing herself.

It was reported that President Trump would be at the game, and reporters asked Hochul about it.

She quipped, “I’d like him to name the starting lineup for the 1993 championship team.” But, there’s just one little issue: The Knicks last won an NBA championship in 1973, not 1993.

And really, there’s plenty of evidence showing Trump has been a loyal Knicks fan over the years.

There are numerous images of Trump courtside at Knicks games—he clearly enjoys the sport.

I mean, let’s be honest: It seems like some people just can’t resist a chance to poke fun, even if it backfires spectacularly.

I think it’s safe to say maybe Hochul should just stick to politics. But then again, that doesn’t seem to be her strong suit either.
