UC Police Using ‘January 6 Tactics’ to Find Pro-Israel Vigilantes Who Attacked UCLA Encampment

The University of California Police Department (UCPD) Los Angeles Times Explain “January”. “Six Tactics” to Identify the Vigilante Group Who Attacked the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) “Camp” on April 30th.

As reported by Breitbart News, about 100 vigilantes raided the encampment between April 30 and May 1, leading to retaliatory attacks. Police took hours to respond to the scuffle. The camp had been bullying Jewish students on campus for nearly a week, physically banning them and anyone else from entering the main quad on campus. Activists used anti-Semitic rhetoric and physically assaulted journalists, including this reporter.

UCLA did not intervene, and UCPD was said to have been told by the university not to disturb the encampment. A security contractor who spoke to Breitbart News said the encampment is under the control of the contractor.

Only after a night of fighting did police intervene, and state and local authorities finally responded to the problems posed by the encampment, which were resolved the following night.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and University of California, Los Angeles Chancellor Gene Block have issued no such statement regarding the nearly week-long encampment in which Jewish students and the nearby Jewish community were forced to live in fear. He promised to prosecute and punish vigilantes, even though he did not make any promises.

President Joe Biden himself Said He said Tuesday that the activists’ actions were anti-Semitic, although he did not specifically mention UCLA.

Too many people deny, downplay, justify, and ignore the Holocaust and the horrors of October 7, including Hamas’ horrific use of sexual violence to torture and terrorize Jews.

This is totally despicable behavior and should stop.

However, the university did not take action until provoked by the vigilante group.

Now, times reportUCPD is conducting what is believed to be the largest investigation in history, using tactics used by federal law enforcement agencies, such as facial recognition tools, in the investigation of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

UCLA detectives are currently scanning hundreds of images to identify the attacker. Law enforcement officials say they intend to use technology that captures images of faces and compares them to other photos on the internet and social media to tell faces their names.
