Several members of the encampment then held a mock court hearing to decide the administrator’s fate, TND reported.
As Bracey’s representative sat before them, the camp’s leaders gave a false verdict.
According to the publication, the moot court continued with verdicts against GWU’s board of directors and president, with calls for each of these individuals to be beheaded.
The agitators caused chaos in GWU’s U-Yard throughout the night, resisting police officers called to restore order.
Police finally moved onto the campus around 3:30 a.m. and used pepper spray to clear the rowdy crowd.
They pitched tents at the encampment for days, raised Palestinian flags and defaced the campus’ namesake statue of former President George Washington with Palestinian iconography. This included placing a “Liberate Palestine” sticker on the statue.
