Democrats impeached Trump for exactly what Biden is now doing to Israel

Remember the phone call between then-President Donald Trump and Ukraine’s new president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy? Who was the “whistleblower” so upset that he ran to Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and helped set up the Democrats’ impeachment fight?

Well, the call was legal and Trump was rightfully acquitted. Democrats took issue with how President Trump used U.S. foreign policy for political purposes. Although the record did not show anything particularly problematic, this was an outrageous act that could only be addressed by impeaching him.

Now the shoe is on the opposite foot. President Joe Biden has stalled ammunition shipments to Israel in an effort to appease extremists within his party’s strongholds. Do any Democrats even notice?

President Trump’s call was a congratulatory call after Zelenskiy was elected. In it, President Trump cited all the allegations of spreading influence over Joe Biden as a litmus test of partisanship. Republicans see corruption and demand an investigation.Democrats see nothing and demand no questions asked – in fact, the media black out the entire topic.

Personally, this second option seems a bit defensive, considering that even if there was no corruption, a full-fledged investigation would only exonerate Biden and make Republicans look foolish.

Still, Democrats insisted they would not take any steps to exonerate Joe Biden. And when Trump called, they impeached him for it.

During the debate by Democrats, President Trump took an unprecedented step. Make phone records public. The entire world was free to read what was said. And they read it.

The lawsuit filed by Democrats against Trump sought to omit 540 words spoken between the mention of Ukraine’s interference in the 2016 election and the only mention of Biden. It’s a great bond.

But for Democrats, this was enough for impeachment, given the sufficient political motivation. The Senate was willing to hold the trial. Trump was easily acquitted, but the act was over. Democrats concocted a scenario in which, for the first time in American history, an impeached president would run for reelection. Lack of belief hardly mattered or mattered. What mattered was the label “impeached.”

Now the president is fighting for re-election, but he needs votes from an angry, anti-Semitic young progressive class who is putting politics above long-time allies — in fact, breaking the law. They are putting politics ahead of complying and providing aid to allies. Allies. But for some reason no one thinks there is an obvious problem with this. No one says anything.

Michigan will be an issue in 2024. And if Trump wins Michigan, there is essentially a 100 percent chance that Biden will lose reelection. Democrats need Dearborn voters to carry the state. They also need Hamtramck, an often overlooked enclave of Detroit. Hamtramck once had a Polish majority, but today, like Dearborn, it is predominantly Arab.

If voters in those two areas stay home, the state could easily tip toward Trump.

While the enthusiastic support of young voters is good for any candidate, the real beneficiaries are voters in these two areas with large Muslim populations. Democrats cannot completely abandon and acquire Israel. They will lose many other voters. So they are trying to build bridges between the two sides by publicly criticizing the Jewish state and delaying military equipment approved by Congress.

Donald Trump didn’t go that far, but he was impeached for it. When asked about Biden’s actions, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby demurred, saying:Make sure you report it

There was no outrage. There were no calls for impeachment. Mr. Schiff and Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), the main cheerleaders for Trump’s impeachment, who also happen to be Jewish, have not only not called for an investigation but also said nothing about it. do not have. .

But Biden is using US foreign policy for domestic self-help. That’s why Trump was impeached.

I think it’s wrong for Democrats to do what they accuse Republicans of doing. that’s strange.
