Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders releases 1st rap single, gets negative reaction: ‘This ish is garbage’

If this whole football thing goes awry, Shedule Sanders apparently has a musical backup plan.

The University of Colorado quarterback and top NFL Draft prospect released his first rap song, “Perfect Timing,” on Tuesday.

Sanders raps about his jewelry, saying his neck is “shining all the time.” He also mentions, “The new Maybach, I keep sharpening.”

He later said, “I haven’t reached my peak yet, I haven’t worked hard.”

Sanders chose a crazy time to drop his first song amidst perhaps the most viral feud in the rap game of all time between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. These two rap superstars have been releasing tracks left and right dissing each other over the past week or so.

Of course, Sanders isn’t on their level, but that doesn’t mean he gets a pass from his critics.

Andrew Powell daily caller wrote bluntly: “This is trash.”

OutKick’s Matt Reigle joked that he and his girlfriend wouldn’t have the song on their summer playlist.

Deion Sanders explains why he was involved in social media scrap

“How do I make this sound less like Simon Cowell and more like Randy Jackson? I’d probably say, this isn’t a summer song, dude…I don’t think I’d ever say those words.” Hey. Put Shedul Sanders on your playlist now.” Reigle wrote.

David Hookstead added: “Absolute trash.”

Social media couldn’t be any better, with many declaring it “terrible”.

Sanders recently came under fire for saying his former teammates were “average at best” and didn’t remember him.
