Meanwhile, Ukraine’s parliament has voted to dismiss Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, a key government figure who oversaw wartime reconstruction efforts and championed efforts to establish the vital Black Sea route. Jaroslav Zhelezniak said on Telegram.

8 people injured in Ukraine’s Belgorod air raid, governor announces

Eight people were injured and numerous homes and vehicles were damaged in a Ukrainian military air raid on Russia’s Belgorod region, the governor of the region bordering Ukraine announced on Thursday.

According to Reuters, the governor said on the messaging app Telegram that an 11-year-old girl who was taken to the hospital was among the injured.

In the city of Belgorod, the administrative center of the region, around 34 units in 19 apartment buildings were damaged, as well as 30 cars, Gladkov added.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian air defense systems destroyed 15 rockets and one drone fired from the RM-70 Vampir system over the region.

Three drones were also shot down over Russia’s Kursk region and two drones were shot down over the Bryansk region, the ministry said in a statement on the messaging app Telegram. All regions border Ukraine.
