All This Stupid, Narcissistic Crybabying over an Apple Ad

Apple is a fascist company, so you can imagine how stupid people have to be before I jump to their defense.

However, an uproar arose over the advertisement “Crash!”. This, meant to promote the latest iPad Pro, is just plain stupid. Another example of how social media has created a contagion because being offended is a cheap and easy way to feel morally superior without actually being morally superior It is.

This is the ad that reached 1 million Well, I’m Nevers!

The ads aren’t subtle either. No one with an IQ above room temperature could look at this ad and come to any other conclusion. So the new iPad Pro can do all those neat cool things.

that’s it.

That’s the message.

There’s nothing wrong with that message. Everything is compressed onto the iPad Pro. All these babies are pretending that Apple is destroying art, even though Apple neatly compresses all art into one convenient place. Nothing has been destroyed.

So what’s the problem?

We’ll tell you what’s wrong…Instead of telling grown babies to shut up and get over it…Instead of mocking grown babies until they have to grow up…We coddle grown babies…They tantrum, Of course, Apple capitulated to their fellow fascists and pulled the ad. No one wants to go through life losing their good opinion due to constant reprimands like: Lesser Bateman and Hugh Grant.

But this tantrum becomes especially revealing because nothing is over. This is the moment when a grown baby is sitting at home with an empty life and wants to throw a tantrum and goes out looking for a reason and makes up the reason through deliberate misunderstanding.

Think about how wonderful life is, how blessed our grown babies are, and how we have the mental space to make up reasons to be offended by a commercial. Shouldn’t these millionaires dig wells for Africans or something?

This is the worst kind of toxic, all-about-me narcissism. I’m angry. I’m the victim. Don’t think about how much privilege you must enjoy to be upset about something so stupid and pointless. And please, please, don’t see how I’m intentionally misinterpreting this ad to fabricate a crime that I desperately need in my empty life.

Now comes my favorite part…

How many of these crybabies do you think will buy the new iPad Pro?

yes. All of them.
