A Maine resident received a “misdelivered” package from California containing $2 million worth of fentanyl, police said.
The Winslow Police Department is investigating two mysterious packages reported by residents on Friday, May 3, complaining that they had not ordered anything and were not expecting anything to be delivered.
“When the package was opened, there were multiple baggies of pills. They likely tested positive for fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid,” police said in a statement on Facebook. “His second package containing more pills was delivered on Saturday.”
