Drake and Kendrick Lamar are competing in the diss track phenomenon.
Earlier this week, Nikola Jokic won his third MVP title in four seasons (Joel Embiid won last year), becoming the ninth player to win the award three times.
But while Shaquille O’Neal called Jokic the best player in the league, he said he felt the award should have gone to Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. In fact, the Hall of Famer said this to Jokic when the NBA on TNT crew interviewed him shortly after receiving the award.

This prompted Shannon Sharpe to say that O’Neal was “jealous” of Jokic. O’Neal has only won MVP once in his Hall of Fame career (though he has won four NBA titles).
“Shaq should have five MVPs,” Sharp said on Sports Illustrated’s Nightcap Podcast. “He sees players like Nikola Jokic, who aren’t as dominant as him, win three (MVP awards) in four years. I think part of Shaq is jealous of that. ”
Sharp went on to say that if O’Neal had his work ethic, he could have scored 40,000 points.
O’Neal then responded on Instagram, posting a screenshot of a Google search that listed Sharpe as the 51st best player in NFL history. Mr. O’Neill is often in the top 10 of discussions.

Shaq then released a diss track calling himself the greatest athlete and rapper of all time. His 1993 album Shaq Diesel went platinum.
