LIV Golf’s Anthony Kim doesn’t shy away from social media. On Friday, he again refused to pull any punches and instead landed a haymaker on Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee.
Since his return to public life, his tactic has been to be bluntly honest.
Kim has been through a lot. He quit professional golf more than 10 years ago and virtually disappeared. The 38-year-old resurfaced earlier this year and signed with LIV Golf as a wildcard player.
His return to professional golf was difficult. Kim has finished near the bottom of the leaderboard at various LIV events and asked Chamblee to comment on his play.
All these struggles may be why he took an interest in Chamblee on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Rumble Chamblee @chambleebrandel, you’re so despicable that you’re beating your chest and saying you’ll never retreat, you’re hypocritically retreating. This untalented idiot is responsible for most of the golf world. It’s well known that people hate me, and I will continue to cover golf if LIV Golf is involved,” Kim wrote.
Earlier Friday, Chamblee reversed his views and expressed why the PGA Tour needs to sign deals with Saudi Arabia’s PIF and LIV Golf.
Kim slammed him for his apparent change of heart.

Chamblee is one of LIV Golf’s most prominent critics. But then his opinion reversed.

The analyst has criticized LIV and its “dictator killers” at every opportunity. The 61-year-old went on a Twitter rant, picking fights with players like Phil Mickelson and making it clear he didn’t like the deal.
This change of heart also calls into question his timing, as it was recently announced that Chamblee would be joining the NBC Sports team for the U.S. Open at Pinehurst.
