Supporters of Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Wildwood, N.J., on Saturday, as the Republican front-runner faces ongoing court cases in New York, Washington, D.C., Georgia and Florida. People gathered in droves to hear the former president’s speech.

The rally was expected to draw more than 40,000 supporters.

Many of those who spoke to Fox News said they believed President Trump could turn the bucolic state upside down in November as he hopes to win back the White House for a second term.

Another supporter, who gave his name as Carlos, said he believes the country needs to return to the way it was under the previous president.

“I think this country needs to change. That said, we already know what President Trump means. So that change will come back to us soon. That said, we already know what President Trump means. Because it’s what we need,” Carlos said. “We need Trump because I don’t think Biden will get the job done right now. Part of it is his fault. Maybe it’s the fault of the people around him. I think we need Trump back to get us back to where we are.” That needs to be the case. ”

Asked about Trump’s prospects in November, Carlos said, pointing to the large crowd that had gathered: “Look.”

“There are probably about 6 to 7,000 people waiting online, probably more. [The line] Go all the way back to the entrance. So right now we have 35,000 to 40,000 people in this venue,” he said, noting that some people had been waiting for the venue to open since Thursday.

Another participant, who identified himself as “Frank from Pennsylvania,” owns a small landscaping business. He told Fox News Digital that the poor performance of his own business was a big factor in his support for Trump.

“Help is difficult to find. Fuel and other costs are also prohibitive,” he said.
