Arguably the greatest defensive player of all time was among the 40,000 people who gathered for Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, on Saturday.

New York Giants legend Lawrence Taylor was spotted at a gathering on the Jersey Shore.

Congressman Paul Kanitra of New Jersey’s 10th Congressional District said he “saw some of my favorite players grow up” at the rally.

Those in attendance were stunned when Taylor and former Giants teammate Ottis Anderson spoke on stage.

“I grew up a Democrat and I was always a Democrat until I met this guy here,” Taylor said to cheers. “No one in my family will ever vote Democrat again.”
