A new era dawned in Pittsburgh on Saturday, but Paul Skeens wasn’t the only one making a great debut for the Pirates.
His girlfriend, social media sensation and LSU gymnast Olivia “Livi” Dunn, has also entered the “WAG era,” which means “wife and girlfriend.”
Like Skens, MLB promoted Dunn’s arrival at PNC Park on Saturday with a post on the league’s TikTok page, and in an interview with Sportsnet Pittsburgh, Dunn indicated he was excited about his boyfriend’s debut. Ta.

MLB captioned the post, “Libby Dunn enters the MLB WAG era.”
“I always say it’s much harder to be the guy watching in the stands because you’re not in control,” Dunn said in the post. “I don’t have control. I don’t know how to throw a (160 mph) fastball, but it’s hard not to have control, especially when it’s gymnastics where you’re just watching. But when he does this… I know he has it, and so do I.” Just have a lot of faith in him. ”

When he finally got the call last week, Dunn revealed that he had just woken up from a nap when he got a missed call from the Pirates and needed to pack up and head to Pittsburgh.
The Skeens’ long-awaited debut was certainly more nerve-wracking than Dunn, as Pirates fans packed PNC Park to watch the Skens play against the Chicago Cubs. He didn’t disappoint, striking out the first two batters with a fastball that hit 162 mph that day. Skeens hit 160 mph with his heater a total of 17 times through the four innings he pitched.
“I have so many great memories with him, and I know how hard he worked for this moment,” Dunn said in an interview. “Really, nothing could top this. I’m really proud.”
