Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready falls off stage mid-solo

He jammed too hard.

Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready fell on stage during the band’s sold-out show in Vancouver, Canada, last week.

The 58-year-old and his bandmates kicked off their long-awaited Dark Matter tour earlier this month, but the May 4 show wasn’t without drama.

About two-thirds of the way through the 25-song setlist, McCready seemed to be feeling the music too much and fell off the stage mid-solo.

Of course, McCready didn’t let the fall ruin his solo and continued to perform it from the ground.

Moments later, security rushed in and helped Locker back onto the stage.

Fortunately, McCready appeared to be unharmed by the incident and continued with a smile on his face as if nothing had happened.

Fans took to social media to give props to the rocker for not skipping a beat.

The band will be embarking on a summer tour with their new album, Dark Matter, that will bring the grunge rockers to arenas across North America.

This includes two consecutive concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Tuesday, September 3rd and Wednesday, September 4th.

Before rocking out in America, the band will tour Ireland, England, Germany, Spain, and Portugal.

They will complete their tour around the world in New Zealand and Australia in November.

The band, which was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017, released their 12th studio album, Dark Matter, in April.

At the time, the band expressed their excitement about touring with the new record.

“We’re still interested in putting something meaningful out there,” Vedder shared in a press release. “Without exaggeration, I think this is our best work.”

The 25-plus song setlist includes nine songs from the new album.

While “Dark Matter” is the tour’s focus, the band also incorporates hits like “Jeremy,” “Better Man” and “Even Flow” all into the encore-filled show.
