Staal’s individual moment of brilliance, complete with a breakaway win over Igor Shesterkin, ultimately propelled the Hurricanes’ comeback.
3. Jacob Trouba
In fact, the captain failed to put together a great series in the first four games. He was on the ice for seven straight goals heading into Monday, but ultimately got off Schneid on a short-handed goal. The Rangers scored their only goal of the night.
